Under 13 Faridabad District Badminton League

The association has organized an Under 13 District Badminton League which started from  28^th & 29^th May 2016 at Manav Rachna Sports Academy. The purpose is to elevate the player’s performance & to ensure them to stay in their sporting best.

The league was inaugurated by Sanjeev Sachdeva, Former Chief Indian Badminton Coach in the amidst of C.K Bhai(Patron), B.R Bhandari(Patron),Sanjay Sapra, General Secretary(FDBA), Sarkar Talwar, Director-Sports & Agam Talwar, Administrator-MRSA, Mr. Aditya Mehta, Badminton Coach & Mrs. Alka Chugh.

State Badminton Championship 2015 for District players

1. Ekta Kalia & Gaurav Kalia – Senior Mixed Doubles Winners
2. Saurav kalia & Komal Antil – Senior Mixed Doubles Runners Up
3. Ekta Kalia & Komal Antil –  Senior Girl’s Double Runners Up
4. Kush Chugh & Varun Trikha – Sub Junior u-15 Boys Doubles winners
5. Tanvi Thakur & Nupur Wadhwa – Sub Junior u-15 Girl’s Doubles winners
6. Arshpreet Kaur – Girls Singles U-13 Runner Up
7. Devyangi Arora & Divya Joshi – Girls Doubles U-13 Runner Up

Another Hearting news is that Kush Chugh has won the silver medal in U-15 age category in Amaron. All India Sub Junior National Ranking Badminton Tournament held in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. His hard-work and dedication for the game of badminton has made him determined to achieve feats like this. He is the first player ever from Faridabad city to reach in the final of All India Sub Junior National Ranking Badminton Tournament under this age category.

Kush has not only made his parents, city and State proud by achieving this feat but Manav Rachna Sports Academy also, where he has been practicing for many years under the watchful eyes of famous national & international coaches.

North Zone Badminton Championship

Five young talents from the Association comprising Ekta Kalia, Gaurav Kalia, Komal, Nupur Wadhwa, Bhavya Aneja and Anshul Mehta became the North Zone champions as part of Haryana Team.

Ekta Kalia won the Individual Women Singles and the Doubles Championship with Shivani.

Sub Junior National Badminton Championship

five players from the Faridabad District Badminton Association who participated in the Sub Junior National level were selected from the Haryana State Team. The promising players include Kush Chugh, Varun Trikha, Arspreet Kaur, Tanvi Thakur and Nupur Wadhwa.
